I've done this work with golden thread (which is used for making garlands ) on normal cardboard. Since the golden thread is to small, I used dual layers of the thread to enhance the peacock outline. I decorated the peacock with stones and camlin acrylic outliner in some areas.

I have done hand embroidery on Silk Saree Blouse. I used Chain stitch for flowers Herringbone Stitch for borders some sequence and bead in between the border stitch. Some stone works are done for small flowers. I have done this embroidery after stitching the blouse. I used golden thread with normal needle. It took 3days time.

I have done Aari Work on long blouse. I used Red colour for Petals and golden colour thread for outer line of leaves and green colour Anchor ball thread as inner coating and some stone works are done in centre of the flowers and sleeve borders. It took 3days time.

The following are the basic designs used in Kasuthi Work. We can enlarge the design by combining all the basic designs. The diagram shows the steps involved , the direction of the stitch, the design looks on front side of the fabric and back side of the fabric. The Red arrow indicates that the stitch comes on the front side of the fabric and the Black arrow indicates that the stitch comes on the back side of the fabric.

Its light blue jasmine silk plain saree. I have done Aari work using Rim Zim Thread on this saree. I used white bead on the centre of the flower and light green tube and pink bead around the flowers. It took 30days to finish. The design comes on both edges of the saree.

This one is sandal white jasmine silk plain saree. I have done kasuthi work on this saree. I used anchor threads and red stones. The border design comes on both edges of the saree. I used different design for pallu. It took one month to finish.

The Pink Saree is full of basic hand embroidery stitch. I used Stem stitch for flowers and leaf. Then I stitch Satin stitch to give the embossed effect. The design comes on both sides of the saree. It took 2months time. I used Anchor Hand Embroidery Thread.
