I have done this embroidery in old silk saree. Closed Herringbone stitch and also lazy daisy for small flowers in between golden bead is used for flowers. Its a continous design.

Hi,

Its a blue colour jasmine silk. I have done kadai kamal work in flowers, twisted chain stitch with bead work for stem, herringbone for branches, lazy daisy for leaves. It comes around the whole border.It took 40days to finish.

Kasuthi work in Saree Design

Hi Everybody,

This one is sandal white jasmine silk plain saree. I have done kasuthi work on this saree. I used anchor threads and red stones. The border design comes on both edges of the saree. I used different design for pallu. It took one month to finish.

Hand Embroidery - Stem Stitch with Satin

Hi,

The Pink Saree is full of basic hand embroidery stitch. I used Stem stitch for flowers and leaf. Then I stitch Satin stitch to give the embossed effect. The design comes on both sides of the saree. It took 2months time. I used Anchor Hand Embroidery Thread.

Kantha Work on Saree

Hi friends,

Its a Kantha work saree. Peaacock is at Pallu. I finished this saree within 15days. I used
Anchor thread. The running design comes on both edges of the saree. I used some stones and sequins to enhance the saree's look.
